Travel Time Study

This project utilizes a strategic framework for the evaluation of major regional transportation corridors, and seeks to identify deficiencies in the existing roadway network.

As an integral component of the Congestion Management Process, the results of this study will be used to determine the operational efficiency of Interstate 95, State Route 15, and State Route 25. The results of this study will provide necessary data for the recommendation of future improvements to these roadways.

The information provided within this report will also be used to establish a data sharing arrangement between MetroCog  and the South Western Regional Planning Agency (SWRPA). The scope of such an arrangement has not yet been determined, but the overall intent is to establish an operational program, with each agency conducting bi‐annual travel time surveys of the three main travel corridors in the region.
