Community Meeting

about the Regional Plan of Conservation and Development

Please join us to share your ideas.

MONDAY June 9, 2014 | 6:30 PM

Fairchild Wheeler Magnet School
840 Old Town Rd., Bridgeport, CT 06606

We’ll talk about housing, transportation, water, and other infrastructure investments to make neighborhoods more prosperous, allow people to live closer to jobs, save households time and money, and reduce pollution. Everyone’s input will be used to help us create a Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) for the Region.
This interactive workshop is the second of several outreach events scheduled throughout the planning process. Workshop participants will be given handheld polling devices and be asked to evaluate and rank the greatest challenges and opportunities facing the Region. Topics to be discussed include economic development & competitiveness, transportation, housing, the environment, infrastructure, and more. Polling results will be revealed in real time, and the discussion will be shaped around what the audience feels is most important.
All stakeholders and residents of the Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford, and Trumbull are encouraged to attend!
