Annual Listing of Obligated Projects FY19

MetroCOG announces the availability of the Annual Listing of Obligated Projects for Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2019.  The Annual Listing is required by federal regulations after the conclusion of a fiscal year to report on progress in implementing the five-year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).  Although the TIP indicates planned funding for improvement projects and confers eligibility for federal funding, obligation effectively “locks in” the funding for projects and leads the way to implementation.

Natural Hazard Mitigation Press Release

Elected officials in Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford, and Trumbull are seeking public input on ideas for preparing for natural disasters such as the flood of September 25, 2018. Events such as floods, hurricanes, thunderstorms, winter storms, and other natural hazards affect residents and businesses every year. These events damage property, cause power outages, block roads, and can cause injuries.

MetroCOG + GBT Bike Share

MetroCOG (ctMETRO.org), in partnership with GBT (gogbt.com) and surrounding municipalities are beginning to plan a bike share program, a project that will make bicycles available for shared use throughout the Greater Bridgeport region.

Plan Bridgeport

The City of Bridgeport is updating its Master Plan and they need your help! They will be holding six public meetings, each focused on a different important policy theme. Each meeting will happen at a different location in the City, and they will have meetings both on weeknights and weekend mornings, hopefully making it easier for everyone to make it to a meeting.
