Technical Advisory Committees

Technical Advisory Committees

Both the public and private sectors are relying more and more on solutions created and aided by technology. The fast pace of technological evolution means we need consistent oversight and ability to become more agile in our usage and acquirement of technological solutions.

MetroCog hosts several advisory committees that provide expert advice and leadership in this area. Currently there are several active committees, including:

Transportation Technical Advisory Committee (TTAC)

This committee reviews transportation improvement projects and provides input into the development of all transportation plans and programs.

Conservation Technical Advisory Committee (CTAC)

MetroCog has established a Conservation Committee to coordinate, administer and undertake planning activities deemed necessary and appropriate to address critical environmental and conservation issues, concerns and problems facing the member communities of the Greater Bridgeport Planning Region.

Geospatial Technical Advisory Committee (GTAC)

MetroCog has established a Geospatial Committee to coordinate, administer and undertake activities deemed necessary and appropriate to develop a regional Geographic Information System.
