MetroCog hosts several advisory committees and commissions that provide advice, leadership and solutions in the planning process. Currently there are several active committees, including:
Technical Advisory Committees
Transportation Technical Advisory Committee (TTAC)
This committee reviews transportation improvement projects and provides input into the development of all transportation plans and programs.
Conservation Technical Advisory Committee (CTAC)
The MetroCog has established a Conservation Committee to coordinate, administer and undertake planning activities deemed necessary and appropriate to address critical environmental and conservation issues, concerns and problems facing the member communities of the Greater Bridgeport Planning Region.
Geospatial Technical Advisory Committee (GTAC)
The MetroCog has established a Geospatial Committee to coordinate, administer and undertake activities deemed necessary and appropriate to develop a regional Geographic Information System.
Regional Planning Commission
The Regional Planning Commission (RPC) is responsible for carrying out the planning duties of the MetroCog.
